Abbrumer is M. V. (Marseille, France), a producer of expertly drowsy lo-fi jams with that creamy dusting of Kosmiche ambient veering into graveyard darkness. 'Blanche' is funereal noodling recalling Moevot at their most tuneful. 'Melancholia' is prime outsider house, spacious oddworld feels with distant bass lines and archaic snares. 'Treve' snakes along at higher tempo, bringing a lithe electro bump amongst it's stranded synth flares. 'Alma' nods its head on a slow, fuzzy trip towards the gothic grandeur of 'Genèse' as the album fades out into sleep.
