Moonholders House with a bit of stain and grit for hard-boiled DJs or subway dancecrews, with the Ivy mix of "M15" being the linchpin of this release. Just as the tunnels of NYC, this bad boy stretches out into a beast, sprawled out in all the right places, reverberating the halls with its funky rhythm as it keeps picking up more perc elements to adorn its jacket with. Favorite track: M15 (Ivy Mix).

Grey People This whole EP bangs in a way that only J. Albert can do. The tracks are all gritty as hell, yet very musical and well thought out. I can't wait to hear these on a good system. Favorite track: Kiss The Ground.

Nic Brown Pliant, jazz-inflected house with an organic looseness that compares favourably with the work of other less formal practitioners such as Jean Nipon and Henry Wu. All four tracks are excellent but "M15 (Ivy Mix)" stands out by dint of its thumping kicks and other assorted percussive shrapnel, which suddenly give way to a coda that sounds like a ripsaw cutting lumber in a wind tunnel. Favorite track: M15 (Ivy Mix).

J, Albert knows what he is doing. Solid releases over and over again.
"We Know" is my favorite tune on here it's very funky and really stands out from the rest. Highly recommend this release. Favorite track: We Know.
